La Casa de Selenque exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly, assisted with every question, even gave me free lunch boxes for my day trips! The stay was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was superior. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. Its location is perfect, yet quiet. Its price is very reasonable. Book here for a perfect stay in Cusco!

Perfect location (Plaza de Armas, right behind Starbucks...) yet still very quiet at night (rooms are in the back of the building). 24 hours hot water. Nice bed. Heater (small) in the room.
My room had no outside window (only to the hallway). It was 3rd floor (American counting) with narrow stairs and no elevator.

The location and hospitality of the staff are a winning combination. Breakfast is simple with only cereal, bread and eggs. Choose rooms on the 3rd floor to get the quieter rooms as the floors are made of wooden floorboards. For its location though it is amazingly quiet being only 5m from the hustle and bustle of Cusco's main square. Would definitely stay here again!

All of the stuff members are super nice and taking care of us really good. They are very friendly and make us comfortable all the time. The location of this hotel was excellent! And room is always clean. Location and the stuffs that I liked the best. I stayed twin room that we could see plaza de armas which was nice.
We stayed four nights and only the last night we couldn't get hot water and I asked the stuff that we need to take a shower now and get to sleep, because we have to get up early to catch an airplane. But it took almost 2 hours to solve the problem and we couldn't get enough sleep. But I think the stuff tried hard to solve the problem. If it was a cheap hotel, I understand it happens, but we pay eighty dollers and couldn't get hot water was stressfull.

Location was excellent, keep in mind it is right off the main square so there is a lot going on. If you want total peace and quiet this is not your place.
Wifi did not work in room-had to go to main lobby area

Heating facily was not always sufficient.
